A Straightforward Approach to Vehicle Subscriptions
Voltari was built around one idea: a car subscription should be clear, consistent, and worth the monthly rate.

How Voltari Came About
Voltari began in Kuching when a small group of people who had spent years working in vehicle fleet management noticed a gap in the local market. Residents and professionals across Sarawak needed vehicles for stretches of time — a few months for a project, a longer period while waiting on a purchase — but the options available were either short-term day rentals or full ownership commitments.
The idea behind Voltari was practical: offer a subscription arrangement that runs monthly, includes standard servicing, and gives subscribers a clear sense of what they're paying for. Nothing particularly novel, but executed with enough care to be genuinely useful.
Since opening our Kuching office, we've refined our three subscription tiers based on feedback from subscribers and our own operational experience. The Compact plan works well for individuals who want a reliable vehicle month to month. The Mid-Tier plan suits those who want a bit more space and the ability to change models partway through. The Premium plan is structured for subscribers who want a higher-category vehicle and a more active review process built in.
Our Mission
To give people in Sarawak a sensible way to access a vehicle on a monthly basis — with servicing handled, terms they can follow, and a local team they can reach when needed.
Our Values
- Clarity — terms written to be understood, not interpreted
- Consistency — same standards applied to every subscription, every month
- Responsiveness — a reachable local team in Kuching
- Practicality — plans designed around how people actually use vehicles

Our Standards
How We Manage Every Subscription
Vehicle Readiness Checks
Each vehicle goes through a structured readiness checklist before handover — covering fluid levels, tyre condition, documentation currency, and safety items.
Included Servicing Schedule
Routine servicing is coordinated by our operations team and factored into the subscription period. Subscribers are notified in advance when service appointments are due.
Insurance Coordination
Vehicles are insured for the subscription period. Coverage details are provided during onboarding and reviewed with subscribers before the subscription begins.
Clear Subscription Terms
Each subscription is supported by a written agreement setting out the plan period, included services, swap options where applicable, and renewal conditions.
Subscriber Data Privacy
Subscriber information is handled in accordance with Malaysian data protection requirements. Details are not shared with third parties outside the scope of the subscription agreement.
Account Reviews
Mid-tier and premium plans include structured account reviews. These sessions give subscribers an opportunity to discuss plan suitability and any operational considerations before renewal.
About Our Approach
Monthly Car Subscription in Kuching — What It Involves
Voltari operates a vehicle subscription model suited to individuals and small businesses in Kuching who need consistent access to a car across a defined monthly period. Unlike short-term rentals, a subscription plan runs for a set minimum window — one month for the Compact tier, three months for Mid-Tier, and six months for Premium — with the vehicle and its routine servicing packaged together.
The subscription structure was developed specifically for the Sarawak market, where road and usage conditions differ from the peninsula. Our vehicle selection reflects that context: compact vehicles appropriate for Kuching city routes, mid-size options with added load capacity, and premium-class vehicles for those whose personal or professional use requires a higher-specification car.
Each subscription includes a clear handover process at our Kuching office on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Before the vehicle is handed over, our team completes a readiness check and provides a summary of what the subscription period includes. At the end of the term, return and renewal arrangements are handled through the same point of contact.
Voltari's team has direct experience managing vehicle fleets in Sarawak, which informs how the subscription plans are structured. Servicing intervals, vehicle condition standards, and the account review process are all shaped by practical experience rather than an off-the-shelf model. Enquiries are handled in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
